„Reality(s)“ is dealing with the interplay of our outer environment and the inner state of mind. Two layers are describing the different states of the „outer-” and the „inner world”. The project visualises the mutual influence of the inner state of mind and the outer world on each other. This inner state which in turn influences the perception of our environment and makes it to „our reality”. What is our mind doing when we are in a calm and relaxed situation? Are thoughts jumping back and forth? Or is it as calm as outside? What is the mind doing in situations that mean stress to us? Are we aware of these reactions? Through the photographic representation of subtle and intangible processes, the project wants to encourage the viewer to observe his own state of mind and to analyse the perception of reality.
